The Manager said he would like to do a contract to hire so the only stipulation would be that the consultant going into the interview would have to tell them that he/she would be interested in a Perm position at some point. We know what the market is and the unlikelihood of a contractor rolling perm.

Qualifications

* At least 6 years exp in the configuration of SAP US and Canadian Payroll. (Must have Canadian payroll experience!)

* Minimum 3 full life cycle project experience.

* Experience with the integration of Payroll and FI/CO.

* Strong knowledge of payroll operations for US and Canada.

* Experience in QA/testing, Go live and production support.

* Demonstrated proficiency of systems analysis tools and methodologies.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills.

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

* Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.

* Ability to travel to other NCO sites as needed.

* Ability to work some evenings and weekends.



Position Summary

The qualified SAP Payroll candidate will join our SAP Services team which supports our internal SAP system as well as other HR systems interfacing with SAP (i.e. Time Collection systems). NCO currently has the following SAP HR modules implemented: PA (Personnel Administration), OM (Organizational Management), BN (Benefits), and PY (Payroll).



The SAP Payroll Configuration Lead will be responsible for acting as a systems consultant to HR and Payroll Operations working closely with business process owners to plan, design and implement process driven solutions. The SAP Payroll Configuration Lead's responsibilities include design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation and overall support of SAP Payroll module.



Responsibilities:

* Report to the HR and Payroll Systems Manager in the Corporate Headquarters.

* Gather and analyze business requirements from SMEs, document functional/technical requirements, develop and recommend solutions and identify any potential process changes affected.

* Perform functional design for new projects and enhancements to existing projects.

* Develop functional and technical specifications for system changes.

* Perform system configuration for SAP Payroll module.

* Manage internal or third party programming/development activities.

* Provide production support for SAP Payroll by utilizing troubleshooting skills.

* Create plans and lead QA/test activities for all configuration/development activities

* Administer user support documentation and provide training and coaching to end users.

* Ensure adherence to change control policies and adherence to audit and legislative guidelines.

* Maintain project schedules and manage progress toward final solution and results.

* Maintain project communications with process owners, project sponsors, and management within SAP Services.
