Scope & Objective :
You will support a variety of professional and administrative work in human resources such as recruitment screening and processing, workforce planning support functions, new hire assessments, employee surveys (development and administration), reporting and analysis, database administration, employee data entry (SAP system), regulatory compliance monitoring and tracking, and general knowledge of dispute resolution processes
Specific tasks include:
- Partner in the staffing process: recruiting, transfer/promotions and terminations
- Assist managers and/or supervisor to identify staffing needs
- Screen applicants
- Track applicant qualifications and/or support applicant tracking functions
- Prepare offer letters
- Assist with new employee onboarding
- Manage employee relations and complaint resolution processes
- Assist with employee relations investigations
- Respond to questions regarding medical leave, short term disability, long term disability and other types of leave
- Manage termination processes
- Data entry (SAP) maintenance and accuracy of data within HR systems
- Create and maintain various monthly HR reports that include all transfers, new hires, terminations, T/O etc.
- Participate in HR projects as needed
Skills required:
1. Bachelor's degree with three or more (3+) years experience or five (5) years equivalent experience in the human resources field, including at least one (1) year in human resources administration.
2. Must be motivated to work collaboratively with teams in a fast-paced organization.
3. Demonstrate an initiative to be proactive in providing solutions and support in a team environment.
4. Strong interpersonal skills and willingness and ability to act effectively as a member of a high-performing HR team.
5. Excellent verbal & written communication and analytical skills are required.
6. Excellent computer skills are a must, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities
