Requires as under-Senior ABAP Developer
Required Skills:

TekLink India is seeking a Senior ABAP Developer to design, develop, implement, maintain and support applications for our clients. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of ABAP experience and has good understanding of SAP Basis concepts. The selected candidate will be the lead ABAP developer. The candidate will also be trained in SAP BW and other SAP technologies with an option to travel to on-site locations in US.

• Strong ABAP development skills
• Standard function modules/Update function modules.
• Remote enabled function modules.
• SAP User Exits
• Experience with SAP BW user exits is a big plus
• Strong ABAP debugging skills
• Evaluating and understanding ABAP dumps.
• Tracing and debugging through SAP ABAP code to discover how SAP implements features and functionality.
• Debugging remote function module calls across multiple systems.
• Performance Enhancement
• Knowledge of the SAP transport system
• Different types of transport requests and when they are created.
• The transport directory and sub-directories and the purpose of each file.
• Transport import steps.
• Understanding of transport log file contents.
• STMS.
• Knowledge of the basis components of an SAP system
• Different types of work processes.
• Instance parameters and profiles.
• Start profiles.
• Standard Basis transactions for monitoring an SAP system.
• SAP Basis support packages and kernel versions and patch levels.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Clear and unambiguous descriptions of technical problems and issues.
• Ability to mentor other team members
Ability to extract meaningful diagnostic information from customer feedback.
