SAP MM/PP Business Systems Analyst
Gambro has an opportunity for an MM/PP BSA who will be responsible for SAP Manufacturing support and configuration for the Americas division of Gambro. Individual will conduct business analysis and design, configuration and support using best practices. You will partner with key business users across the organization including North and South America and Europe. Also important is the ability to make decisions that are the best for the organization’s current and future state. A portion of this role will be identifying best practices and applying them to the situation. An independent thinker with customer focus is required. You must currently be residing in the Denver metro area. No sponsorships available for this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, statistics, engineering, or IT
- 5-7 years of Materials Management/Production Planning functional experience including 3-5 years in SAP Materials Management/Production Planning (Manufacturing industry experience a plus).
- Multiple full-life cycle SAP implementations experience; must include one ERP2005 implementation at a minimum.
- Solid understanding of standard financial business processes Materials Management/Production Planning with the ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical requirements.
- Successful designing and deployment of integrated solutions with SAP.
- Experience in mySAP 2005, preferably also with ERP6.
- Experience with BW3.5 or BI 7.0 preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and business acumen with demonstrated fiscal awareness.
- Ability to work with a team and willingness to take on new challenges while delivering on time and on budget with a high degree of customer satisfaction.
- Ability to perform research activities and recommend changes and improvements to functional processes.
- Ability to analyze business problems and provide solutions.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel. Demonstrated working knowledge of multiple business models.
- Ability to accept personal accountability and ownership for areas of responsibility.
- Ability to apply SAP functional knowledge and expertise for technical and functional design sessions / meetings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, team skills.
- Solid understanding of the solutions, tools and technologies in SAP.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide MM/PP functional configuration expertise.
- Design and implement SAP Materials Management/Production Planning solutions in several areas that focus on providing standard SAP functionality to meet business requirements.
- Ability to apply SAP Materials Management/Production Planning knowledge and expertise for technical and functional design sessions / meetings.
- Responsible for the creation of training plans and providing SAP application training.
- Defining and implementing SAP business best practices, adhering to company’s business standards for functional processes.
- Conducting detailed analysis sessions with end users and business SMEs
- Defining functional business requirements. Suggest options and recommendation solutions to key business users.
- Define unit and integration testing plans, testing scripts, enhancements, custom modifications and interfaces to be developed.
- Troubleshooting functional issues during implementation, testing, and post-Go Live.
- Collaborating with technical team to design solutions, define technical design, testing plans, etc.
- Participation in the Global Centers of Excellence for SAP MM/PP.
